The House Veterans Affair Committee is ready to get rid of the senior officials responsible for the backlog that plagues the VA through a new bill needing presidential backing. But how soon will the proposed bill pass?
Veterans need something like this to happen soon so the necessary disability claims get filed in reasonable time in order for veterans to get the medical attention they desperately need. This isn't just an issue being debated in Washington; it affects Veterans nationwide.
Veterans here in Kansas and Missouri face this same problem. Hopefully something positive will come of this bill to help our hometown heroes.
